Strategic Project (Financial) Analyst

• Supporting the CFO on the roll-out of an expanded finance department organizational design and new functional areas
• Working with the Director of Business Systems to design business performance outputs and implement new finance technology
• Lead a working group on process optimization and improvement within existing accounting workflow processes
• Support finance and operations on strategic sourcing and procurement
• Partner with investments, operations and other departments to ensure better collaboration/coordination and performance improvement opportunities
• Assist CFO with board/EC level presentations and materials
• Design a new budget and cash flow forecasting tool for the finance function
• Assisting with board and executive reporting on financial performance
• Leading on improvements to our financial reporting to investors
• Assisting the CFO with various corporate finance activities and corporate development activities
• Preparing financial analysis and models as required to assist the CFO
• Working with the FP&A team to develop best-in-class performance analytics and NOI optimization strategies

• 2-3 years in investment banking, consulting or strategic project management
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting or an equivalent discipline is required
• Post-graduate qualifications like a CPA, CFA or CBA are additive
• Strong, relatable project management experience is essential
• Excel proficiency
