Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Profitability Lead to shape and drive the profitability agenda across VOIS. This role operates at enterprise level, translating strategic priorities into focused actions that improve business performance and deliver sustainable value. Working closely with senior leaders, Finance, HR and functional teams, the individual will enable better commercial decisions, ensure robust governance of profitability initiatives, and secure measurable outcomes aligned to the VOIS business plan.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and lead the VOIS profitability agenda, aligning priorities to the business plan and enterprise performance goals
  • Challenge strategic trade-offs across growth, investment, productivity and service performance to enable informed, value-based decisions
  • Set and govern profitability assumptions, targets and performance parameters across planning and tracking cycles
  • Ensure business cases and strategic initiatives deliver measurable outcomes, with clear accountability for value creation
  • Lead the VOIS benchmarking approach, using internal and external comparisons to inform targets, strategic choices and improvement priorities
  • Translate market, competitor and economic insights into practical implications for VOIS profitability and long-term performance
  • Establish and lead the performance cadence for profitability initiatives, providing senior leadership with clear visibility of progress, risks and decision points
  • Deliver decision-quality insight, executive narratives, dashboards and data products, including predictive insight to support strategic prioritisation
  • Partner with Finance, HR and functional teams to ensure profitability measures, baselines and assumptions are robust, consistent and monitored
  • Proactively identify and mitigate material profitability risks, intervening early to maintain delivery momentum
  • Drive continuous improvement through cost-to-serve assessments, AI-enabled insight generation and enhanced dashboarding
  • Translate transformation and investment initiatives into measurable benefits, tracking and validating value realisation against agreed business cases

  • An enterprise-level leader with experience delivering outcomes across a complex, global matrix environment
  • Commercially and financially astute, with strong strategic judgement and the confidence to challenge assumptions
  • Skilled in executive influencing, stakeholder alignment and facilitating decision-making at senior leadership level
  • Comfortable translating ambiguity and complex data into clear priorities, actions and decisions
  • Proven in driving measurable business performance, value realisation and transformation outcomes
  • Professionally qualified in finance, with a degree in Finance or a related discipline
