Job Description

As Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering commercial, strategic pricing and tender data-driven insights that support and align with Medline EMEA’s long-term goals. Your responsibilities include tender analysis, commercial excellence KPI analysis, strategic pricing analysis and impact, margin tracking delivered from key projects. You drive cross-functional processes and with senior management to optimise business performance across the company. Your role is instrumental in executing strategic pricing initiatives, fostering a culture of pricing excellence, and ensuring that the strategic pricing analytics team effectively supports Medline’s growth and commercial success.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver strategic pricing and commercial analysis, contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales, customer service and commercial leaders, offering strategic pricing guidance and recommending innovative solutions to address their commercial challenges and opportunities
  • Implement best practices for data accuracy and consumption
  • Ensure new processes are in alignment with standardisation focus of the organization
  • Drive process improvements, operational efficiency and effectiveness via projects, with special focus on the commercial effectiveness of our strategic pricing and tender management win and retain performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, mathematics, applied statistics or business analytics preferred
  • 3+ years of direct experience with strategic pricing analysis is a must
  • Experience with SAP, SQL, CRM and other Medline trading and analytical tools
  • Significant experience analysing and reporting data to identify issues, trends or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
  • Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadliness
  • Proficiency in English, any another major European language is a plus
