Job Description

Our clients Services Central Marketing team is responsible for cultivating awareness and education of the full suite of services and driving new customer acquisition through various marketing channels. Their rapidly growing team is looking for a Strategic Planning Specialist across payment properties to join the Central Marketing Strategy team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with marketing leads, media teams, creative strategists, analytics, and data personnel to build data-informed recommendations and campaigns. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize, adapt to change and multi-task within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop integrated media strategies within Services
  • Manage the workflow between external and internal media teams and the implementation of each strategy
  • Analyze the performance of media channels and provide insights to ensure key partners understand plans, optimizations and results
  • Position yourself as the strategic thought leader for business stakeholders and provide direction on how they allocate budgets, effectively leverage media for their needs while providing insight on branding and messaging within creative
  • Clearly communicate challenges, solutions, recommendations, and perspectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years media planning and strategy experience, agency experience a plus
  • Expertise in cross channel tactical planning for performance and brand KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to build audience profiles, create clear communication plans, and develop channel level marketing strategies that tie back to business objectives
  • Familiarity with traditional media channels (OOH, TV), digital advertising and social media platforms and their relationship with each other in multifaceted, integrated campaigns
  • Track record of measuring impact through different testing and measurement solutions with the ability to also share results and future recommendations in a digestible way
  • Proficiency working within syndicated research sources (MRI/ Simmons, comScore, etc.) and social listening tools
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously with agility, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial services marketing and/ or acquisition marketing strategies a plus
