Job Description

iCapital is seeking a Strategic Development and Business Management Assistant Vice President or Vice President to drive operational efficiency and support iCapital’s growth initiatives under the Business Excellence team. This role is highly collaborative and central to ensuring a smooth execution of key processes, working closely with the Operations and Investment Product Management leadership team. This individual will have opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities as the organization and company scales. This role will focus on driving strategic planning and operational execution, streamlining workflows, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance operational performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and data storytelling skills with financial modeling expertise and excels at fostering cross-functional relationships in a dynamic fintech environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with Operations and Investment Product Management teams to develop and deliver key operational initiatives
  • Provide oversight and governance for key business initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes
  • Serve as central coordination point for cross-functional projects
  • Build subject matter expertise in the data, systems, and processes across the company and how they work cross-functionally
  • Develop advanced knowledge of the company structure, clients, and key business drivers to inform analyses for operational leadership
  • Ensure consistency in methodology, documentation, and tracking across the COO office and business unit

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of investment banking, management consulting, private equity, high-growth tech strategic finance, or corporate finance management development program
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with extensive experience in analyzing raw data to drive quantitative analyses and building meaningful outputs
  • Demonstrated ability utilizing BI tools to create and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports. Tableau is preferred
  • Data-driven thinker who can translate complex problems into models that can be built and then iterated with stakeholders
  • Strong strategic and business decision making abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to own and prioritize multiple tasks and drive projects from start to finish
  • Strong collaborator who engages effectively across all levels and functions of the organization
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
