Job Description:

We are looking for a Strategic/Operational Planner III who will provide effective and responsive strategic planning in plans, operations, logistics, information operations, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance, military information support operations, computer network operations, public diplomacy, public affairs, and staff support to better prepare the Command's Staff to meet all joint requirements associated with its broad and diverse area of responsibility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Will conduct detailed planning to fully develop options, identify resources, and identify and mitigate risk, associated with military operations
  • The Strategic/Operational Planner III ensures that Joint Operation Planning is directed toward the strategic employment of military power to achieve operational objectives by shaping events, meeting foreseen contingencies, and responding to unforeseen crisis
  • Planning for the full range of military operations uses two closely related, integrated processes: the Adaptive Planning and Execution System, or APEX, and the Joint Operation Planning Process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Need to have military planning experience/Military operations planning
  • Cyber information operations experience is preferred
  • Good oral and written skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in working with common MS applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph
