The Strategic Marketing Planning & Business Operations - Senior Manager supports and effectively implements the PCW & Enterprise Marketing Strategy — spanning both innovative long-term growth and core strategies—to ensure achievement of business goals. This role supports the development of the annual strategic marketing plan, defining priorities across Brand, Performance, Creative, and Operations teams to guide messaging and customer experience strategies for 140M+ customers. The candidate must have strong business acumen and a thorough understanding of accompanying financials (budget, results, KPIs). They ensure implementation of the strategic plan across the organization and facilitate strong communication between departments, teams, and stakeholders to inform and influence business decisions, ensuring seamless coordination, ongoing alignment, and tracking to the annual plan. This position offers broad exposure to many aspects across Enterprise marketing, as well as significant interaction with senior business leaders. Reporting directly to the PCW Chief of Staff with a direct line to the PCW CMO and their marketing leadership team of VPs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversees and directs high-level business development strategies, blue chips and objectives to effectively advance and achieve critical organizational objectives and targets
  • Helps drive strategic planning for initiatives across the organization
  • Owns internal communication strategy across multiple audiences, ensuring senior level stakeholders are informed on in‑market initiatives, customer/industry trends, technology enhancements, and key tests to support informed business decisions
  • Lead the external communication strategy to elevate CMO and brand visibility, developing compelling talk tracks and presentation materials for external speaking engagements, and defining and optimizing social media strategy
  • Partners with core team members and ancillary organizations to successfully execute initiatives using best practices and principles, and identify key gaps, interdependencies, and risks
  • Facilitates and supports workstream efforts to ensure scope and deliverables progress at necessary rates and align to key timelines and stakeholder commitments
  • Strategically influences positive outcomes in a dynamic environment, including driving prescriptive work efforts as well as pivoting initial approach and plan as needed
  • Manages relationships with all stakeholders and contributors to drive consistent messaging
  • Provides guidance and council to the organization in support of the overall strategy
  • Remove impediments to achieving quality standards, project deadlines and business objectives
  • Ensure holistic ownership and accountability for assigned products and delivery
  • Strong ability to understand needs of audience, tailoring meeting content, communications, etc. to deliver intended outcomes
  • Critical thinker who can apply knowledge of business and industry to advance the organization’s goals through influential storylines
  • Demonstrating an ability to be agile, managing multiple complex priorities at one time, and adapting to change with enthusiasm

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s/MBA preferred
  • 3-4 years of Consulting Expertise (Senior Consultant, Consultant or Strategy Consultant)
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing and project management preferred
  • Proven ability to proactively lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor complex messages to varied audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain credible relationships while effectively managing up, down, and across the organization with partners at all levels
