Job Responsibility:
Lead the transformation of The Houston Lawyer magazine into a profitable publication by developing and executing advertising sales strategies
Identify and establish relationships with non-legal businesses to create strategic partnerships that align with organizational objectives
Design and manage tiered partnership packages, including pricing structures, benefits, and positioning strategies
Oversee the delivery of partnership benefits and maintain a tracking system for managing prospects and partnership pipelines
Develop targeted partnership opportunities to onboard new businesses into long-term collaboration frameworks
Coordinate marketing and communication campaigns by collaborating with internal teams to ensure strategic planning and execution
Partner with the Marketing and Communications Director to transition workflows from reactive operations to proactive campaign planning
Standardize branding kits for major campaigns and events, including visual design elements and messaging frameworks
Utilize data-driven insights to create compelling marketing content that supports member recruitment, retention, and engagement
Measure and refine marketing strategies by analyzing campaign performance data and implementing improvements
Requirements:
Proven experience in strategic marketing, emphasizing revenue generation and growth initiatives
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Canva for designing and adapting marketing materials
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience working collaboratively across teams and with external partners
Familiarity with advertising sales, sponsorships, or partnership development
Knowledge of digital marketing and campaign planning, including social media strategies
Excellent communication skills and ability to craft data-informed messaging for diverse audiences
