Bentley is embracing significant changes in the way we operate to accelerate our growth through product innovation and secure our long-term leadership in infrastructure engineering software. To help drive this process, we are looking for a Strategic Initiatives Lead to join our Value Delivery team to lead a range of strategic projects. This is a high-profile role with significant exposure to senior leadership across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with the Senior Director of Value Delivery and functional leaders across the business to develop, launch, and deliver projects and initiatives in line with company’s strategic priorities
  • Lead or actively contribute to strategic projects across all operational domains, from go-to-market, M&A and product to operations, talent and business functions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation and adoption of strategic initiatives
  • Support business review processes, the corporate planning cycle and other key priorities
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams (e.g., Product, Finance, Market Intelligence and Voice of the Customer) to distill customer, market and competitor insights critical for Bentley’s strategic considerations
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reach better outcomes, faster
  • Limited travel to main Bentley offices to lead strategy workshops (<10%)

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years’ total professional experience
  • At least 2 years in a top-tier consulting firm, or as a chief of staff in a tech company
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and deconstructing complex, multi-variable problems
  • Proven capability to turn analytical outputs into clear, actionable value stories for senior stakeholders
  • Highly driven self-starter who thrives in fast-evolving environments
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills
  • Highly collaborative and able to drive decisions in ambiguous context
  • Passion for solving ambiguous and complex problems
  • Ability to translate complex analytics into clear, concise, and actionable communications
