Job Responsibility:
Strategic Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate and branch roles, including workforce planning, interviewing, and high-touch onboarding
Employee Relations & Advisory: Provide guidance on complex ER matters, performance management, and disciplinary actions while fostering a positive workplace culture
Regulatory Compliance: Draft and update HR policies to align with the Canada Labour Code (CLC), Bank Act, and OSFI guidelines
Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in a manual environment, ensuring 100% audit readiness for internal and external submissions
Total Rewards Support: Assist with benefits administration, disability management (STD/LTD), and provide ad-hoc support to payroll and administration teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
CHRP/CHRL designation is highly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience, specifically within a regulated industry (Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services)
Professional fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory for global reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to maintain high data integrity in a manual, non-HRIS environment
Deep understanding of Canadian federal labour standards and financial institution regulatory requirements
What we offer:
Competitive Compensation: Base salary between $95,000 – $110,000 plus an annual discretionary performance bonus
