We enable Plaid’s sustainable growth by providing financial insights and raising capital to invest in our business. The Head of GTM Finance will help shape how Plaid deploys capital, wins in the market, and builds the analytical infrastructure to sustain growth at scale. The GTM Finance function is a strategic partner to Plaid’s world-class Go-to-Market organization. The team owns revenue forecasting, ROI analytics, and performance visibility — and serves as a critical voice in resource allocation decisions.
Job Responsibility
Revenue Forecasting - Lead the team in constructing and integrating bottoms-up customer forecasts, top-down segment-level views, and statistical models into a unified, high-fidelity revenue forecast
Resource Allocation - Partner with the COO on capital deployment decisions including headcount planning, capacity modeling, and territory design
Performance Tracking & Visibility - Own and evolve Plaid’s GTM performance reporting
Cross-functional Partnership - Build trusted relationships across the organization, acting as the connective tissue between the GTM function and key partners including Product and Engineering
Board Reporting - Own the GTM narrative for quarterly Board meetings
Team Building - Define the future-state of the GTM Finance team and execute against it
Requirements
12+ years in Finance
Background spanning management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth B2B technology company
Deep fluency in B2B SaaS and GTM metrics (ARR, NRR, pipeline coverage, CAC payback, capacity models)
Exceptional analytical rigor paired with sharp business judgment
A genuine builder with a player-coach approach
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams
Executive presence and exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and board-level audiences
Fintech or financial services experience is a plus, but not required
