Defines high-impact, long-term supply chain architecture strategies at the global, regional and operational level. Establishes and manages cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities, network design and architecture strategies. Manages strategic supply chain models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services supply chains into the company's business systems. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement across the supply chain. Partners with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new business opportunities. Develops recommendations based on benchmarking, financial results and statistical data. Communicates strategic direction to the organization
Job Responsibility:
Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge
Interprets data received from business stakeholders and strategy leaders and develops recommendations that optimize performance
Suggests enhancements in systems and processes that improve user experience and efficiency
Guides and supports Supply Chain partners in Manufacturing and Order Fulfillment systems interfaces and process solutions
Leads cross-functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance
Owns strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution
Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues
Requirements:
First level university degree or equivalent experience or Supply Chain qualifications
Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function, experience of multiple Supply Chain functions and systems preferred
Experience of leading or acting as a core team member for multiple cross-functional Supply Chain projects
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) and SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, EDI and other data interfaces, PLM systems such as Agile/PTC Windchill
Knowledge in the business functions of Plan to Build, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Contract Manufacturing including Cost Management, Install Base, Serialization, Product Master Data, Order Fulfillment, Logistics and Trade Compliance
Ability to architect solutions in the above areas, by seamlessly integrating & working with other teams across various business functions and IT
Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling and reporting tools
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
mastery in English
Knowledge of data warehouse solutions and reporting visualization tools such as Tableau
Strong team and project management skills, including project structuring
Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business functions, with an understanding of emerging trends
