This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure optimal outcomes of multi-million dollar deals with key industry partners
  • Create clear insights into the financial impact of these deals under various scenarios
  • Build financial models and perform financial analysis for complex agreements
  • Collect and verify diverse data points, while both forming and challenging assumptions
  • Prepare financial deal summaries for leadership discussions and decision-making
  • Act as a proactive deal advisor to structure agreements and apply best practices
  • Work cross-functionally with diverse teams (e.g., Payment Partnership Managers, Pricing, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Strategy, Commercial) to mature internal ways of working
  • Drive standardization to ensure replicability and comparability across deals
  • Empower the Partnership organization to build and run their own financial analyses for straightforward deals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of expertise in a similar role, ideally with a background in banking, consulting, or fintech
  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven success in supporting the closure of large, complex deals and building sound financial models to guide those decisions
  • An entrepreneurial approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment that requires continuous prioritization
  • An effective communicator who can build a strong network within a global company, as well as influence and challenge senior stakeholders

  • Billing Systems Administration: Own all aspects of our billing platform's configuration, optimization, and expansion. Build and maintain monitoring and alerting that surfaces data quality issues before they reach customers. Drive process standardization alongside Finance and Deal Desk to reduce billing complexity and manual intervention. Continuously refine the system to improve accuracy, automation, and reliability across the invoicing and billing lifecycle
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Advisory: Serve as the connective tissue between finance, product, engineering, and GTM teams on all billing-related matters. Advise on how new products, discounting frameworks, payment structures, and bookings policies will function within the billing architecture. Proactively flag risks when business decisions could create downstream complexity. Own the vendor relationship, holding them accountable to SLAs and advocating for Qualia's needs on the roadmap
  • Billing Operations Documentation: Serve as the go-to owner of all things associated with systematic financial operations. Work with the billing team to build comprehensive operational documentation—runbooks, configuration guides, and process maps—so that billing system knowledge is institutional, not individual. Ensure billing data flows accurately across connected systems and that every team with a dependency on billing data has the visibility they need
  • Leverage AI for Operational Efficiency: Qualia is an AI first company. As a systems administrator, you will be charged with leveraging LLMs and AI to drive insights and operational efficiency for our front line collections and billing teams
