As a Strategic Buyer, you will be the one who brings together our transportation partners, manages pallet operations, and oversees the warehouse services of our regional depots – all as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Job Responsibility:
Procuring and optimising FTL (domestic and international) and distribution transport services
Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, service providers and the Group Procurement Team
Managing the service providers responsible for warehouse operations at our regional depots
Procuring and coordinating pallet-related activities
Preparing and running annual tenders and indexation processes
Leading price negotiations
Identifying and onboarding new suppliers
Preparing contract processes and managing contract administration
Coordinating multiple parallel projects and working closely with the team
Preparing monthly reports as part of the cooperation with the Group
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in procurement or logistics
Strong, confident negotiation skills
Experience running FTL and distribution transport tenders
Understanding of the basics of warehouse services
Familiarity with the specifics of the Hungarian market
Comfortable using English in daily work, both spoken and written
Builds relationships easily and enjoys working as part of a team
Ability to stay focused when many tasks run in parallel
