Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution in the TD Centre, is looking for a Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant to serve as a dedicated Internal Audit Copilot Advisor. This is a high-impact, project-based role designed to modernize audit workflows by integrating AI-driven efficiencies. If you are a seasoned professional with a background in Internal Audit and a deep, hands-on mastery of Microsoft Copilot, this is an exceptional opportunity to influence the digital transformation of a major Capital Markets audit team.

Job Responsibility

  • Audit Enablement & Coaching: Train IA team members on daily Copilot usage across audit planning, risk assessment, walkthrough documentation, and test control design
  • Prompt Engineering: Translate complex Copilot capabilities into audit-specific prompts and workflows to generate defensible, auditable outputs
  • Hands-on Guidance: Provide real-time 'desk-side' coaching during active audits to help teams determine when and how to leverage AI tools
  • Guardrails & Quality Control: Define acceptable vs. unacceptable Copilot use cases within IA, ensuring all outputs align with methodology and documentation standards
  • Use Case Development: Build and maintain a library of approved prompts, audit examples (planning memos, test steps, issue wording), and 'Do/Don’t' guidance
  • Change Management: Drive the cultural shift toward AI adoption, supporting the rollout of new features and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of overall professional experience, with a specific focus on Internal or External Audit execution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Copilot (or equivalent intensive experience) with the ability to clearly explain user cases and limitations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings (approx. 80% of the role) and conduct training sessions

Nice to have

  • Microsoft Copilot-related certifications
  • CPA, CIA, or CISA designations

What we offer

  • High-Visibility Impact: Lead a cutting-edge AI implementation project within a prestigious Capital Markets environment
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive, professional team of 25–30 people with a focus on cross-training and innovation
  • Professional Growth: Gain unique experience at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Financial Governance
