As a (Senior) Strategic Business Development Manager, you drive strategic initiatives, define growth priorities, and translate complex opportunities into scalable commercial impact. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you contribute directly to the long-term success of our PRO business for small and medium-sized businesses.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and drive PRO’s strategy, OKRs, and key initiatives in close collaboration with the PRO leadership team and Kleinanzeigen management
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Analytics, and other internal and external stakeholders to align strategy, execution, and commercial impact
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects with senior stakeholder visibility, translating complex topics into clear recommendations and decisions
  • Structure and execute core commercial initiatives that enable scalable growth of the PRO business
  • Continuously develop and expand the professional seller value proposition by analysing market trends, user needs, and new opportunities
  • Build and improve scalable processes in a fast-growing organisation (e.g. onboarding, prioritisation, OKRs, knowledge management)

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic business development, strategy, or a comparable role, including exposure to senior leadership
  • Experience in breaking down complex business challenges into actionable go-to-market plans, processes, and measurable outcomes
  • Clear and confident communication with senior stakeholders, both in writing and verbally
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong project management and lateral leadership skills
  • Comfortable driving initiatives across functions and levels of seniority
  • Curious about technology and data-driven decision-making
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting priorities in complex environments, and adjusting direction as new information emerges

Nice to have

  • German skills are a plus
  • Experience with SMBs, platform businesses, or B2B sales cycles
