Strategic & Acquisition Ops Research Planner

• Perform strategic planning and policy implementation for the Commander at the United States Space Force (USSF) Innovation and Prototyping (SZI) Acquisition Delta
• Creating new organizational concepts, assessing unit impacts in technical, financial, and morale dimensions as well as integration impacts to the enterprise
• Developing Space Force and mission level acquisition strategies, plans, and concepts to support customers' strategic and tactical objectives
• Creating new visions and messaging for the organization and cross-cutting concepts for improving portfolio management

• At least 15 years of government acquisition experience of which 5 years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs
• Master's degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, and Science Technology, Engineering, or Statistics
• Proficient in the use of M/S office applications, i.e., M/S Outlook, Project, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Excel
• Superior verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills
• Must be able to create, cultivate, and communicate innovative concepts and Courses of Action (COAs) anchored by expert analysis
• Extensive program management experience, strategic communication/planning experience, and senior-level government space acquisition experience
• Material Leader experience and/or successful completion of DAU's PMT 401 is highly desired
• Strong knowledge of the DoD protocol, acquisition, operational, and project management processes and policies
• Top-secret level clearance required
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences
