Job Description

Boston Dynamics has an opening for a Key Account Manager within our Spot Robotics team. The Key Accounts Manager will lead relationships with major accounts in the LATAM market that are critical to the early, successful growth of our Spot robotics business and to building and sustaining relationships with new customers. As this role will focus regionally on LATAM market, it will require occasional travel and working in those time zones. In this highly visible role, the right candidate will be a core part of the Boston Dynamics team create the future of industrial Inspection Robotics!

Job Responsibility

  • Manage relationships with our largest strategic customers in the LATAM market
  • Establish long-term client relationships within the customers' organization, from C-suite executives to project managers and field engineers
  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis, respond to questions
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and support issues, and contribute to the successful resolution of those issues
  • Ensure the customer is getting the most value possible from Boston Dynamics
  • Introduce new developments, applications and products to the relevant audiences
  • Seek out and analyze new use cases and product enhancement opportunities and communicate those opportunities to internal teams
  • Develop a mapping and deep understanding of individual roles and responsibilities within the client organization
  • Develop a cadence for communications, strategic meetings, and executive interactions within the client organization
  • Assess the commercial potential of automation at a very detailed level within a customer’s industrial environment
  • Evaluate commercial and engineering aspects of customer requirements and implement sales and marketing strategies to satisfy those requirements
  • Understand the customer buying patterns, budgeting/purchasing methods, and preferred channels
  • Evaluate and report competitive pressures
  • Monitor project performance
  • Contribute to sales proposals/estimates/quotes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or engineering-related fields, or a special combination of education and experience with demonstrated accomplishments
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the technology B2B environment
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in each
  • Industrial automation experience preferred
  • Experience forecasting multi-phase project work
  • Experience working with LATAM customers
  • Develop sales presentations via either Microsoft or Google products
  • Negotiation skills with problem-solving attitude
  • Experience in crafting multi-dimensional customer frame agreements
