Job Description:

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in the field of substitution therapy in Switzerland, building strong networks, engaging with healthcare professionals, and implementing strategic initiatives that align with company goals while addressing the needs of patients and medical institutions.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain a strong network with addiction treatment clinics, harm reduction centers, medical institutions, and pharmacies
establish long-term partnerships and identify new key stakeholders
implement a strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and the needs of healthcare professionals and patients
deliver approved product and therapy-related promotional materials and activities
independently plan, organize, and execute promotional events
conduct market and competitor analysis to develop strategic approaches
represent the company at regional and national congresses
provide industry insights to optimize activities, investments, and commercial performance

Requirements:

University degree in life sciences or equivalent
several years of experience in pharmaceutical sales in the Swiss market
established network of healthcare professionals within the sales territory
strong knowledge of the local pharmaceutical industry, distribution channels, and healthcare system
experience and understanding of clinical practices in substitution therapy

Nice to have:

In-depth knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system and substitution therapy sector
strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
entrepreneurial mindset with a patient-centered and results-driven approach
high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
willingness to travel across Switzerland and attend international congresses
