Job Description:

Strategic Account Executive responsible for developing strong personal and collaborative internal and external relationships to manage a book of business for Meritain Pharmacy Solutions, focusing exclusively on pharmacy business for large and mid-size self-funded employer groups to achieve customer satisfaction and membership objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing strong personal and collaborative internal and external relationships
  • Manage a book of business (e.g., large and mid-size self-funded employer groups)
  • Achieve customer satisfaction and membership objectives
  • Execute tactical components of the client management team's business plan for each customer
  • Manage daily service Plan Sponsor/Producer concerns
  • Execute on objectives aligned to customer and organizational goals
  • Offer creative product and service solutions to address client's evolving needs
  • Monitor client's product lines and services
  • Collaborate with Medical account team members and pharmacy support areas
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, implement, and monitor customer's service efficiencies
  • Collaborate with team members on new client implementation
  • Perform service-related tasks on existing customers
  • Service delivery on the customer relationship
  • Coordinate service work/resolution of service issues
  • Provide support on opportunities for new products and services

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant healthcare industry experience
  • Ability to travel 25% – 50%
  • Demonstrated ability to leading open enrollment strategy, including on-site client meetings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Communication experience with C-suite level individuals
  • Monitoring and reporting results of Performance Guarantees
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience

Nice to have:

  • Previous Client Management experience with a Health plan carrier
  • Previous Client Management experience with a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM)
  • 3 – 5 years of experience of relevant pharmacy industry experience
