We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing company based in Wigston who are looking for a Stores Support / Admin Assistant to join their team. This is a hands-on, varied role that combines warehouse duties with light driving and admin support.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with packing and dispatching orders
Operate a Forklift Truck to support the Warehouse Manager (FLT licence preferred)
Provide driving support for local deliveries and collections when needed
Organise and maintain stores and inventory areas
Handle basic admin tasks, including raising purchase orders and updating internal systems
Liaise with suppliers to place orders and chase deliveries
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
Good organisational and communication skills
Confident using basic admin systems
A flexible, 'can-do' attitude
FLT licence is desirable but not essential
Clean driving licence and willingness to drive when required
