Job Description

Syntech Recruitment are proud to be supporting an aviation overhaul and repair business based in Alton, who are looking to strengthen their team with a Stores Operative. This role would suit someone hands-on, methodical, and eager to support workshop operations through effective stores management.

Job Responsibility

  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries from customers
  • Booking goods in using the MRP system
  • Picking and preparing parts and units for the workshop engineers
  • Reading and checking seal numbers on components
  • General storekeeping duties to ensure smooth workflow in the business

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environment
  • Good attention to detail and a sensible, practical approach to work
  • Strong organisational skills and reliability
  • Forklift experience
  • Computer literacy for booking goods in and updating records

Nice to have

  • Aviation experience
  • Reach Truck licence

  • Supporting stock control activities, including cycle counts and annual stock takes
