Job Description:

Storekeeper position at Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, inventory management, food safety compliance, and maintaining storage areas while delivering thoughtful, heartfelt service.

Job Responsibility:

Receive and stage merchandise by department
Mark merchandise appropriately for placement in facility
Deliver merchandise to appropriate department
Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels
Receive deliveries and store perishables properly
Rotate stock and inspect deliveries for freshness and quality
Refuse acceptance of damaged or incorrect items
Adhere to food safety and handling policies
Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, and food equipment
Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Follow all company policies and procedures
Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
Speak to guests and co-workers professionally
Develop positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Comply with quality assurance standards
Read and visually verify information in various formats

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to navigate stairs and service ramps
