Diploma or Technical Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Agriculture, or related field
Additional training in inventory management systems (e.g., ERP or Source platform)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse or storekeeping roles, preferably in agribusiness, food processing, or FMCG industries
Familiarity with agricultural raw material handling, particularly cereals or barley
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Basic quality inspection knowledge
Good numerical and analytical ability
Ability to use digital inventory and reporting platforms (e.g., Source)
Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in storage environments
Good leadership and coordination skills with laborers and assistant staff

Job Responsibility

Supervise assistant storekeepers, daily laborers, and guards
manage daily warehouse operations and report misconduct or performance issues
Manage intermediary store operations, including receiving, unloading, stacking, storage, dispatch, cleanliness, safety, and FIFO compliance
Check malt barley quality (visual/sensory), ensure consistent QC compliance, and coordinate with Quality/QC teams on off-spec materials
Verify quantities against dispatch documents
prepare and validate receiving notes, vouchers, and system records
Ensure timely unloading, proper storage, and authorized transfer of barley to the Boortmalt plant store
Control and track all barley shipments and internal transfers
maintain accurate daily reports and ERP/Source system entries
Maintain a clean, pest-free store environment and ensure all safety equipment and PPE compliance
