Job Description:

Storekeeper position at Four Points by Sheraton Dakar Diamniadio, responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise while maintaining safety and quality standards in a hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Receive and stage merchandise by department
Mark merchandise appropriately for placement
Deliver merchandise to appropriate department
Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
Notify manager of low stock levels
Receive deliveries and store perishables properly
Rotate stock
Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality
Refuse acceptance of damaged or incorrect items
Adhere to food safety and handling policies
Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains
Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Follow company policies and procedures
Maintain professional uniform and appearance
Maintain confidentiality
Protect company assets
Speak to guests and co-workers professionally
Develop positive working relationships
Support team goals
Comply with quality standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
