The storekeeper will verify all goods that come in and compare them to purchase orders and delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure that the type, amount, price and quality of items invoiced and ordered are correct, and that all items are stored securely, safely and organized.
Job Responsibility
Management of stock, orders and inventories on the dedicated software
Store the goods in the spaces provided for this purpose in compliance with the rules of hygiene and safety
Ensure proper rotation of goods
Date, code and manage the arrival dates of goods and manage the shelf-life established by department heads
Ensure cleanliness, organization and storage in accordance with the standards established by the management team
Analyze the differences in inventory share for dry products in the warehouse
Control the movement of goods
Carry out the store's inventories in collaboration with managers or any designated official, in accordance with the hotel’s administrative and accounting procedures
Keep management informed of any anomalies found
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management
Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Manual
Requirements
Ability to communicate fluently in French and English, both orally and in writing (beginner level)
Comply with Four Seasons Standards
Demonstrate a high level of ethics, integrity and professionalism in all situations
Work in harmony with colleagues and supervisors
Excellent general understanding of the hospitality industry
Accounting reflexes and management control
Respect for the confidentiality of the information processed
Ability to withstand stress during closing periods
Be able to carry loads of up to 20 kg, pull loads of up to 30-40 kg and push loads of up to 40-49 kg
Product and market knowledge
Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards
Methodical and rigorous
A degree in hotel management is preferable
1 to 3 years of a culinary and/or receiving/purchasing experience in a hotel
