Job Description:

As a Storekeeper Cum Receiving Assistant at W Kuala Lumpur under Marriott International, you will be responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, maintaining stock levels, adhering to food handling policies, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of storerooms. The position involves working collaboratively with the team toward operational goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Receive and stage merchandise
mark merchandise for placement in facility
deliver merchandise to appropriate department
stack merchandise on pallets or carts
complete requisition forms for inventory
notify manager of low stock levels
receive deliveries and store perishables properly
rotate stock
inspect deliveries for quality and cleanliness
refuse acceptance of damaged items
organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains
remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash
comply with quality assurance standards
report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager
read and verify information in multiple formats
support team to achieve goals
perform reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
ability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as stairs and service ramps
ability to follow food safety policies and standards.
