The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are: To assist with new Store Setups, Relays, Relocations, and expansions of existing Stores within the group. Reporting directly to Store Setup & support Manager, the incumbent will need to ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered in line with business requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with new Store Setups, Relays, Relocations, and expansions of existing Stores within the group
Assist with the setup of new stores by open date
Assist with relays & expansions of existing stores
Assist with relocations of existing stores
Implement Planograms at new store setups/relays
Implement Chemist Warehouse approved Merchandising at new store setups/relays
Assist with the preparation of merchandising materials for new store setups/relays
Assist with the development & testing of new Merchandising strategies for the Chemist Warehouse
Assist store staff with Planogramming & Merchandising according to the My Chemist Retail Group guidelines
Assist with store support, providing training for new and existing staff
When required, undertake additional projects or activities as directed by management
Act in accordance with all Group policies and procedures
Act in accordance with all policies, procedures practices and guidelines in the performance of accountabilities
Take all reasonable care for their own and others safety and wellbeing while at work
Demonstrate a professional attitude when dealing with store staff and work colleagues
Requirements:
Merchandising experience Preferred
Familiarity with computer software like excel, word etc
Experience with Planogramming is preferred
General Retail experience preferred
Drivers licence required
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to train staff when required
Great organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
Strong customer service skills
Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects when required
