Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

To ensure all paperwork is completed in according with Food Safety, Health and Safety and Department Policies and Procedures
You will be required to drive the Department's vehicle to make daily deliveries to boarding houses, function areas and other such places as required
To assist the Head Chef and Storeman in stock-taking, monitoring stock levels and ordering
To make up shopping baskets of commodities to deliver out or to be collected
To keep the stores and ancillary areas in a clean, organised and tidy manner, including stock rotating
Monitoring wastage and out of dates
Ensuring that the food is delivered to the standard expected
Ensuring that you have a very high standard of communication with the Executive Chef and Head Chef
To keep accurate records of goods being delivered outside of the department in order for recharging to take place and accounts made up
To assist in other areas of the department as required by any member of the Management Team
To ensure compliance with the company’s policy on safer recruitment and safeguarding children and young adults at all times whilst at work
To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, and company policies and to also keep up to date with training
To ensure that you are helpful and approachable attitude to customers and quick to respond and exceed expectations
To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated

Requirements:

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Experience in a food service department
Flexible to undertake jobs other than your own at the direction of the Executive Head Chef
