Job Description:

Store Manager position for IKEA Tebrau location, leading a team of approximately 220 co-workers to establish IKEA as the leading home furnishing company in the local market through strong commercial focus and growth mindset.

Job Responsibility:

Lead IKEA Tebrau Store with approximately 220 co-workers
Provide home furnishing solutions at the lowest prices in the local market
Develop and implement the store's yearly business plan
Ensure store operations meet IKEA's conceptual requirements and local legislation
Achieve IKEA's international positioning objectives
Operate as a highly efficient sales machine
Implement the IKEA Concept to achieve profitability, customer & co-worker satisfaction
Create an environment where IKEA culture is a strong reality
Attract, inspire, and develop people according to IKEA's co-worker idea
Establish common goals and coach performance of store management team

Requirements:

7-10 years of management experience in a high-volume or multi-unit retail environment
Strategic, analytical, and tactical abilities
In-depth knowledge of local market demographics and economic conditions
Proven record of delivering sales growth, strong profitability, and local succession
Proven leadership capabilities
Ability to lead by example and motivate co-workers
Experience with collaboration and co-creation between retail and shopping center operations

Nice to have:

Current Market/Store Manager within the IKEA Network
Passion for home furnishing and retailing
Genuine interest in customers
Experience with shopping center collaborations
