The Store Manager plays a key role in achieving company standards, leads by example, embraces entrepreneurial spirit, and inspires teams through passion and belief in the Calvin Klein brand. The role is essential for setting the tone of the brand in stores, which are the main touchpoints with consumers.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with store management to achieve company standards/goals (sales, wage budgets, SPH, UPT, conversion rate, wage/expense control, shrinkage, mystery shops, audits, profitability)
Identify opportunities to grow business or improve performance
Foster a positive store experience for customers and staff
Ensure execution of visual merchandising directives and standards
Communicate with buying team on stock levels and demographic needs
Analyze store reports and create action plans
Communicate daily with staff on sales goals and KPIs
Manage manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation
Provide training and coaching for employees
Lead weekly management and staff meetings
Make commitments and decisions under changing conditions
Set challenging goals for service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
Coordinate action plans considering consequences and budget
Convey clear ideas and goals and manage their implementation
Create energy and excitement around shared goals and values
Requirements:
Extensive experience in connecting to consumers in a brand retailer
Previous retail operations, budgeting, planning and sales experience
Previous people management experience
Ability to act with purpose to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
Effective communication skills
Ability to collaborate
Courage to give feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
