Job Description:

Store Manager position responsible for leading store operations, managing employees, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and maximizing sales and profits.

Job Responsibility:

Directly supervises activities of 2 or more full-time employees
Recruits, hires and trains employees
Develops, manages and assigns tasks to ensure store cleanliness and organization
Maintains professional and supportive image
Schedules employees within Company guidelines
Implements non-discriminatory management skills
Develops relationships with suppliers
Promotes excellent service and resolves customer complaints
Provides regular onsite attendance
Promotes positive public image
Prepares performance appraisals
Trains employees on customer service, safety, and cash awareness
Ensures employees complete required training
Establishes communication meetings
Evaluates and develops action plans
Organizes and maintains store files
Manages merchandise stocking and pricing
Analyzes daily sales and expense information
Budgets and forecasts P&L lines
Safeguards and accounts for money
Notifies District Manager of discrepancies

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials
Ability to use computer or acquire necessary computer skills
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Ability to have open availability
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions
Ability to work in described conditions
Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Food Server certificate (e.g. ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required
