Exciting times are ahead at Bob & Berts — we’re opening a brand-new store in Warrington and we’re on the lookout for a passionate, energetic, and experienced Store Manager to lead the team from day one. This is a brilliant opportunity to put your stamp on a new store, build a fantastic team, and create the friendly, welcoming atmosphere our customers know and love. As Store Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the store — leading by example, keeping standards high, supporting your team, and making sure every customer receives the great food, great coffee, and great service Bob & Berts is known for.
Job Responsibility
Recruit, train, onboard, and inspire a brand-new store team
Create effective rotas to make sure the store is set up for success during busy trading periods
Coach, motivate, and develop team members so they can grow with confidence
Lead by example and make sure Bob & Berts standards are delivered every day, from uniform and presentation to service and customer care
Oversee smooth daily opening and closing procedures
Make sure food, drinks, and coffee are prepared consistently to a high standard
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety
Keep equipment well looked after and report any faults quickly
Create a warm, friendly, community feel that makes customers want to come back
Be a proud Bob & Berts brand ambassador, building strong relationships with customers and the local community
Handle customer feedback professionally and positively
Make sure orders are prepared promptly, accurately, and with care
Take ownership of store performance, including sales, costs, and profit and loss accountability
Manage stock, ordering, waste, and availability to keep the store running efficiently
Complete daily cash reconciliation and ensure accurate banking procedures
Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to grow sales and improve performance
Requirements
1–2+ years’ management experience in a fast-paced café, coffee shop, hospitality, or retail environment
A confident leader who can motivate, support, and develop a busy team
A genuine passion for delivering great service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Strong organisation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Confidence working with sales, stock, costs, KPIs, and daily store performance
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and busy trading periods
You must have the right to work in the UK
