Join Us in Rural Alaska – A Unique Opportunity for Two! The Alaska Commercial Company (ACC) has exciting opportunities for full-time, permanent employment in retail stores across rural Alaska. This is an excellent chance to join a team where your experience and work ethic are appreciated and rewarded. With ACC, you’re encouraged to learn and grow on the job and explore the beauty and culture of the communities where we live and work. We’re hiring for two positions designed to be filled together—Store Manager-in-Training and Front-End Manager-in-Training. We’re looking for two people who know each other—often a couple, close friends, or family members—who are excited about the adventure of living and working together in rural Alaska. This is a training position. Once you complete your training, you will move into a Store Manager position. Each retail team member plays a vital role in our stores and the communities they serve.

  • Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and superior customer service skills
  • Must have the ability and desire to develop an in-depth understanding of ACC's customers
  • Demonstrates a personal and enthusiastic commitment to ACC's vision, mission, values, and strategies
