Our Retail Store Managers play a critical role in building and leading teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise. As a CVS Health Store Manager Rx (SM, Rx), you will be a single-unit retail leader responsible for leading your team to achieve operational and service excellence. The SM, Rx will achieve success through managing, inspiring and coaching their direct reports, consisting of Front Store (FS) crew and FS management positions. The SM, Rx will lead the store team through effective communication, consistent application of SOPs and best practices, provisioning of appropriate support to all departments, and scheduling to the needs of the business. A model for all, the SM, Rx will demonstrate CVS Health’s Heart At Work behaviors, HelpingWithHeart Actions, and will lead their team to do the same.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cultivate and maintain a healthy talent pipeline, including oversight of front store and cross-trained colleague performance and development
  • Ensure appropriate staffing to operate store successfully by scheduling to demand
  • Improve store performance measures (sales, service, loyalty, shrink, compliance, etc.) by coaching colleagues
  • Maintain a safe and high-quality working environment that complies with all regulatory and company standards
  • Oversee timely and quality training of front store and cross-trained colleagues
  • Conduct regular check-ins with all direct reports to track business goals and maintain team engagement
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with Rx DL, Pharmacy Manager, pharmacy team and any other in-store teams
  • Partner with FS DL to establish store priorities, implement new initiatives, and engage all colleagues
  • Act as an ambassador for CVS Health through professional behaviors and positive engagement within the community

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Completion of all required training for current role within required timeframe
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure
  • High school diploma or general equivalent education (GED)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including early morning and evening shifts according to store needs and operating hours
  • two closing shifts per week and four weekend shifts per month are required at a minimum
  • Ability to lift and exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting
  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended amount of time
