Job Description:

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) position at CVS Health is designed to prepare individuals for the role of Store Manager. Participants will undergo a 16-week training program, including virtual and hands-on learning. Responsibilities include team leadership, customer care, merchandising, and inventory management. SMITs are expected to actively engage in their learning experiences and take on leadership roles in alignment with CVS values.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead your team
Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service
Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth
Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability
Lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies
Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose
Actively engage in key learning experiences toward promotion

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
Bachelor's Degree
Retail management experience
Experience as a CVS Supervisor
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to perform customer care duties
Execute merchandising strategies
Manage store inventory and assets
Willingness to accept promotion and transfer roles within the designated market
Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs
