Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store. Objective is to receive hands on training preparing manager in training for a management position in another store or future location.
Job Responsibility
Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members
Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members
Recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members
Train new team members
Handle team member performance evaluations and recommend pay increases
Assist in the hiring process
Support store manager ensuring safety compliance
Make sales calls with/without store manager
Support store manager in area of store operations
Responsible for maintenance of delivery fleet and records
Ensure store is kept neat, clean and organized
Learn to utilize electronic scheduling and timekeeping system and payroll entry
Learn to manage key components of gross profit
Requirements
High School Diploma
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Nice to have
O'Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
Completed O'Reilly management training program
Advanced computer skills
ASE Certification
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
