Job Description

The Store Manager in Training will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training employees, managing site operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a professional image. The role involves financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to maximize sales and net profits.

Job Responsibility

  • Recruit, hire and train employees
  • Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure site cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain professional and supportive image
  • Schedule employees to maximize customer service
  • Implement non-discriminatory management skills
  • Develop relationships with suppliers
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Train employees on safety procedures
  • Organize and maintain site files
  • Manage and supervise store employees
  • Analyze daily sales and expense information
  • Budget and forecast P&L lines
  • Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials
  • Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR and ASM job descriptions
  • Ability to use computer or acquire necessary skills
  • Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
