Job Description:

The Store Manager in Training (SMIT) job prepares candidates for Store Manager positions at CVS Health. The program includes virtual and hands-on training over 16 weeks. Candidates will gain essential leadership skills, supported by various members of the CVS Health team, and will actively engage in development experiences. Responsibilities include customer care, merchandising strategies, leading teams, and inventory management. Promotion to Store Manager is contingent upon factors like performance and market availability.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate well verbally and in writing
Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service
Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth
Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability
Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose
Actively participate in career development program

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
Bachelor's Degree
Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor
Communicate well verbally and in writing
Perform customer care duties
Execute merchandising strategies
Manage store inventory and assets
Willingness to accept promotion roles at any location in the designated market
Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores
Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs

Nice to have:
