Are you looking to develop a career in retail management? Would you be motivated in a retail role that makes a life-saving difference? We are looking for a Store Manager Designate to join our retail field team covering our home stores across North & East London and the Essex area. From working in a variety of stores you will gain exposure to different markets, layouts and turnover of stores before taking responsibility of your own store. The Store Manager Designate role provides cover across different locations to support the day to day running of the required stores.

Job Responsibility:

  • Driving sales and achieving targets
  • Delivering a high standard of service to customers that is expected by the BHF
  • Leading and developing a team of staff and volunteers
  • Deputising for Store Managers
  • Stock generation and management
  • Visual merchandising
  • Recruitment and training of staff and volunteers

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience is essential
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Experience of leading and developing teams
  • Ability to achieve sales targets
  • Committed to achieving the highest retail standards at all times
  • Results driven but with a recognition of right result, right way
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to build rapport with people
  • Willingness to travel to various sites is essential
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Keep track and manage the process from design to completion. This will be in collaboration with the project managers, retail, creative, product, marketing and VM, etc
  • Collaborate with the creative & branding teams to ensure a cohesive omni-channel brand experience
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, landlords and planning to make sure yearly targets for store projects are delivered within budget, on time and according to brand standards
  • Lead product range rollouts to ensure it meets the needs of the business, budgets and innovative design
  • Coordinate with external design agencies for the creation of a store, including briefing, managing budget & creative direction to make sure deliverables are handed over in time, on brand and within budget
  • Support with assessing feasibility of new store locations and projects
  • Contribute to the company’s goals of more sustainable store roll out and construction. Have a sustainable and circular mindset at the start of every design and with everything you do
