Job Description:

We are looking for a Store Graphic Communication Co-worker who with his/her passion and creativity could take the IKEA brand in the heart and mind of the many people and increase the interest of many people in Home Furnishing in the local market.

Job Responsibility:

Use graphic communication competence to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity in store communication
Actively contribute to the department action plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability
Plan, implement and evaluate store communication to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept
Actively contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating store communication strategies that support a convenient shopping experience
Respect routines and responsibilities work together with Communication & Interior Design team and other functions in the store
Secure visual balance and consistency, quality and simplicity, cost-efficiency and sustainability in producing and implementing store communication
Keep visitors in mind and minimize disruption when working on the shop floor

Requirements:

Ability to combine and identify commercial, aesthetic and practical skills
Confidence in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations
Ability to work together with others in a team
Practical hands-on approach to work
Ability to prioritize and organize own work to make the most efficient use of available time and meet agreed deadlines
Ability to visualize and present ideas
Proficiency and extensive experience in using production tools and graphic design software like InDesign and Illustrator
Understanding of graphic communication design, media and typography principles
Basic communication skills in English and good verbal & written skills in Romanian language
