Job Description:

Part-time retail position at IKEA involving customer interaction, active selling, maintaining a clean and stocked work area, product flow, furniture assembly, and accurate processing of transactions. The role focuses on enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Job Responsibility:

Actively approach customers requiring additional help identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes
keeps area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
conveys passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices
build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels
receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy
flow product to final selling location
process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience
provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience

Requirements:

1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector
experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
