Store Associate position at ibis Mumbai BKC. The role involves assisting the Purchase Manager, maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper storage and documentation of goods, following HACCP procedures, and overseeing the maintenance and security of the Stores. Job Responsibility:
Prime Function: Assist the Purchase Manager to maintain optimum stock levels
To ensure that all goods are stored correctly, in terms of temperature and shelf life
To ensure that all goods are made against requisitions and that no items leave the storeroom without the appropriate documentation or signature
Ensure HACCP procedures are followed and clear records are kept at all times
Responsible for the overall maintenance of the Stores
Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management
Facilitates the functioning of and / or oversees the functioning of Finance department
Requirements:
Assist the Purchase Manager to maintain optimum stock levels
Ensure all goods are stored correctly in terms of temperature and shelf life
Ensure goods are issued against requisitions with appropriate documentation
Ensure HACCP procedures are followed and clear records are kept
Responsible for the overall maintenance of the Stores
Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments
Provide effective support to the team
Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure operative effectiveness
Assist to regularly review Stores to improve productivity
Identify optimal, cost effective use of resources
Ensure maximum security of all storeroom areas
Efficiently supply materials to user departments
Inform Purchase Manager in case of spoilage or damage
Ensure to par stock the goods
Ensure timeous and correct completion of all administrative tasks
Check expiry date of goods and discard expired goods
Maintain proper records of goods received, issued, stock & rejected goods
Establish and maintain safe working conditions following Accor Health, Safety and Environmental policies
Ensure all staff are conversant with departmental fire and evacuation procedures
Ensure all hazards are recorded, reported and investigated
Implement Accor policy on prevention of Harassment/Bullying
Ensure all protective clothing and equipment is provided and maintained
Ensure all workplace accidents are reported accurately
Provide rehabilitation support to injured workers
Review and develop health and safety policy objectives annually
Keep departmental health and safety records up to date
Apply site visitor/contractor entry procedures
Safeguard own health and safety and that of others
Apply the Hotels’ Security Regulations
Apply ISO 9001 Quality Certification requirements
Respect the hotels commitments to the “Environment Charter” (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste, etc)
