Job Description:

Join the #HamFam! Perfect for students, teachers, retirees, or anyone wanting extra income with flexible schedules. Stores open Monday-Saturday, 9:30AM-6:30PM, closed Sunday.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist phone, catering, in-store lunch, and retail customers
  • Provide excellent service in a friendly and polite manner
  • Respond positively to customer requests or comments
  • Assist with food preparation for lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge
  • Articulate product features and benefits
  • Drive add-on sales through suggestion selling
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards
  • Remain productive throughout shift
  • Take responsibility for activities within control
  • Follow all processes and procedures
  • Comply with company standards in service and food preparation
  • Adhere to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred (e.g., cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, store associate)
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, customer service, grocery, or hotel is a plus
  • Physical dexterity and mobility
  • Ability to perform bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds (for ham production associates)

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, or store associate
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, customer service, grocery, or hotel
