Job Description:

Store Assistant role at Toolstation in Ludlow. More than just a store job, involving customer service, deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. No retail experience required, training provided. Opportunity for career growth within the Toolstation and Travis Perkins Group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need
  • Be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves
  • Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders
  • Provide outstanding service, chatting with customers and staying efficient during busy times
  • Ask the right questions to show genuine interest in customers' projects
  • Be proactive in selling the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up
  • Help maintain high store standards and create a workplace everyone enjoys

Requirements:

  • Live locally and can easily commute to the store
  • Able to manage early starts and late finishes (store hours 7 AM to 8 PM)
