Job Description:

Storage Sales Specialist role responsible for leading pursuit within SPG on the storage portfolio. This remote position requires active TS/SCI clearance and involves collaborating with account managers, driving pipeline growth, and closing deals with mid-to-large accounts. The role focuses on storage products and solutions, requiring extensive industry knowledge and sales expertise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead pursuit within SPG on storage portfolio
  • Collaborate with and support Account Managers
  • Drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities
  • Create and drive storage sales pipeline
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve
  • Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities
  • Assess solution feasibility from technical and business perspective
  • Establish professional consultative relationships with clients up to C-level
  • Work with channel partners to forge relationships and co-sell
  • Lead and coordinate storage marketing campaigns
  • Generate customer interest and anticipate buying trends

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with SPG, marketing, and sales
  • 6+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience in storage sales preferred
  • Extensive vertical industry knowledge
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of selling experience with a major storage company (Dell/EMC, Pure, NetApp) preferred
  • Expertise in storage, cloud, solution or service offerings
  • Knowledge of competitors and key partner/ISV solutions
  • Understanding of industry trends and IT role within storage
