Sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory
prospecting new storage opportunities
managing and coordinating sales activities
building sales pipeline
formulating and expanding solutions to generate additional product or service attachments
building sales readiness and reducing client learning curve
coordinating supporting sales activities
maintaining healthy pipeline and account plans
collaborating across HPE teams to deliver consistent business development approach
negotiating profitable deals
establishing a professional and consultative relationship with clients
anticipating customer needs and facilitating solutions development
focusing on and working with the channel to forge relationships and enable key technologies
coordinating marketing campaigns related to storage
growing business and achieving financial metrics
participating in sales strategy and defining specific sales plans
independently selling a storage product/solution.
Requirements:
6+ years of sales experience
demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota
storage-related sales experience preferred
current government security clearance at any level is highly regarded for this role but not mandatory
expertise to assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective
negotiation skills for profitable deals
hunter mentality to pursue new business
ability to articulate technical solutions and commercial benefits independently
conceptualizing and articulating targeted storage solutions
knowledge of digital and modern methods to connect and sell
in-depth knowledge about storage, service, cloud, solution and differentiators between own offerings and competitors
understanding of industry trends and key partner/ISV solutions
