Job Description:

HPE Storage Leader for Switzerland responsible for driving accelerated growth and transformation for HPE Storage. This role leads a team of storage sales and presales specialists, owns the P&L for a $70M+ storage business, and works closely with local account management, channel and inside sales organizations to deliver HPE's Hybrid Cloud and AI Strategy through storage solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for a team of about 15 storage sales and presales specialists including one presales manager
  • Own the P&L for a total Storage Business of more than 70M$ per year
  • Communicate direction to the team in line with the BUs vision and strategy and manage the sales motion towards growth and increased profitability
  • Create a high performing team through recruiting, developing, and retaining talent
  • Coach to assure best in class individual and team sales performance
  • Orchestrate major customer engagements to deliver results and create the best customer experience in the industry
  • Engage customer and partner executives to understand the customers' business context, build trust, and deliver HPE's value proposition
  • Create early-stage opportunities by managing top customers' and partner executive level relationships
  • Partner with stakeholders to maximize cross-HPE team efficiency and customer success
  • Help the team to bust barriers and overcome obstacles
  • Establish sales methodology for end-to-end sales process management
  • Manage sales planning and follow up to ensure consistent execution
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and won/lost deal analysis

Requirements:

  • University or Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in the Storage & Data Services market including Software and Cloud
  • +10 years of working experience in an IT sales environment selling products, solutions and services in the Swiss market
  • +5 years' experience in people management/leadership
  • Demonstrated excellence in sales, business and people management
  • High knowledge and connection with channel partners and end customers
  • Experience in deal project management, business planning, execution and control
  • Ability to develop, mentor, inspire, and motivate people and create a winning team
  • Successfully driven transformation of organization and individuals
  • Dynamic character challenging status quo and fostering a creative mindset within a group
  • Excellent communication, presentation and closing skills
  • High level of responsibility and confidence
  • Business fluency in German and English language
