Job Description:

Whitehall Resources currently require an experience Storage DPS SME to work with a key client.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and operate backup policies, schedules, retention, and air-gap strategies
  • Integrate with OpenShift (Velero/CSI snapshots) and databases for application-consistent backups
  • Optimize performance, deduplication, encryption, and replication to DR sites
  • Perform restores, DR drills, compliance reporting, and capacity planning
  • Provide subject matter expertise for enterprise data protection services including NetBackup/Commvault and Data Domain
  • Ensure resilient backup, restore, and DR capabilities for OpenShift, virtualised, and bare-metal workloads

Requirements:

  • Hands-on with NetBackup/Commvault and Data Domain
  • Knowledge of SAN/NAS, Linux, and networking
  • Experience with RPO/RTO design and regulatory audit needs
  • Strong DPS storage and virtualisation knowledge, provisioning and migration knowledge
  • Strong knowledge in DPS hardware installation and configuration
