This full-time apprenticeship will give you a pathway to complete a Certificate III in Stonemasonry over four years while learning through practical work and TAFE block release. In this role, you will: Develop tool-measuring and fabrication skills during the first 12 months; Follow toolbox talks, SWMS, PPE and dust suppression procedures; Learn cutting, shaping, polishing and finishing processes; Train on workshop machinery, including saws and CNC equipment; Progress towards independent trade capability over four years. You will assist qualified tradespeople with measuring, cutting, shaping, polishing, loading, unloading and moving stone materials. You will also learn to read plans, drawings and specifications, mix and apply adhesives and sealants, maintain tools and support daily production requirements. The role is suited to someone seeking a trade pathway, not a lateral move. Over three to five years, you can move from supervised tasks into machine operation, advanced fabrication, restoration techniques and project responsibility.
Job Responsibility

Requirements
Completion of, or willingness to complete, Certificate III in Stonemasonry
Basic maths, measuring and reading skills
Driver's licence, due to early starts and the Armadale location
Hands-on experience in labouring, landscaping, tiling, concreting, carpentry, cabinet making or construction
Physical fitness for manual handling, loading and moving stone materials
Interest in tools, machinery, fabrication and production work
